I'm particularly curious as to the speculation of why it would work not really whether or not it's effective. FWIW I did try this method and was pf for about 2 days but I'm not sure whether or not that was a natural part of the cycle or if the cycle was broken up by using water. Your thoughts please.... nots

Ah yes, water, the foundation of life. Difficult to say what works and why, many believe something has helped their CH, or lowered the pain, but the ebbs, and tides of Cluster headaches are little understood,. You try something, and the pain is better, did it help or is the lessened pain the natural course of the malady we suffer? To Damned painful to experiment. Experience, the guidepost of humanity. I looked over the survey on this site of what worked for others, the percentages are telling. But for episodic CH'ers, planning for the next attack is difficult, hard to get an appointment, hard to find a knoledgeable Doctor, hard to deal with the insurance companies, many risks for the various treatments, and what indeed will work for you and me? In the mean time, water is available, cheap, and certainly non intrusive. Why does it work for some? Why indeed! John
