Those of you who have been here since the old board will probably remember Bob Baker, who was trying to get some help for his father by posting on his behalf. Bob started posting right around the time we had all the trouble with our "impostor", and he had to deal with some suspicion because of the way that WebTV handles ISP numbers.
Bob is STILL having trouble with WebTV... it apparently doesn't handle the new board very well, but he has been in touch with me quite a bit since the changeover to the new board. He asked me to post this here:

On thursday, we got the shrooms XXX sent us the previous day. We received 2 teaspoons of crumbled up shrooms... On friday my father made the tea using 1 teaspoon of crumbled shroom. He drank the tea, and then went to bed, as he does not enjoy the side effects of the shrooms...
He woke up the next day shadow free. He also realized he had a full nights sleep that was un-interupted by CH.... Skeptical of the shrooms, my father was expecting to have some shadows, or a full blown CH that day... But that never happened. He had no CH that day or night.. He also got another full nights sleep with out a sign of CH... it is now sunday night (10:00 pm e.s.t ) and he has not had a headache since friday morning. It appears that his 2nd dose of shrooms KILLED the cycle...
If you remember corectly, he took his 1st dose about 3 weeks ago. That dose eased the headaches for a while, and mysteriously made oxygen work for a while as an abortive. After about a week or so after his 1st dose his headaches were regaining strength.. and oxygen stopped working as an abortive... But as you said, the shrooms clearly did alter the headaches...
I just wanted to update you on the situation.. The shrooms were sucessful.. For the 1st time in a long time my father looks 100% relieved... He even had a beer tonight.... I'm glad this therapy worked.... I really got to thank you for telling me about the shrooms... Thanks...
Please tell the people in the Board about the sucess of the shrooms for my father.. I would do it myself but my webtv wont let me use the board.. Thats why I havent been in there.. Thanks!

ALL RIGHT! I just KNEW this second dose would give better results!
No problem, Bob. I will pass on your report right now. I know a lot of people who will be VERY happy to hear that your father is painfree at last.
Pass on to your father my congratulations, and tell him that I was glad to be of assistance. It really makes my day to be able to add another success story to the record!
Some words of caution, however...
I know that your father is happy to be able to drink beer again, but I VERY STRONGLY recommend that he stay completely away from alcohol or any other known trigger for him for a week. I may be worrying for nothing, but I know of two other people who started drinking again too early who then had the headaches start up again and had to do another dose. It really is best to do nothing at all to piss off The Beast for the rest of the week. Let sleeping dogs lie!
I must admit that I also know other people who started drinking again a few days after dosing and had no trouble... BUT... in my opinion it really is best to tread softly for the next few days at least.
And... it is still possible that a day or two from now he might get a shadow or two, or even a headache or two, and that it will start to get worse again. If it is just the odd slight shadow or very short and mild headache, no big deal; this sometimes happens. But if he runs into two days in a row where the shadows seem to get stronger each day, he should take another dose IMMEDIATELY, to finish off The Beast once and for all while it is still weak.
A year ago I would have left it at that, but as more reports come in, we are starting to hear of occasional cases where The Beast will slowly regain his strength, even after it appears that he has been put down for the count. I think it would be an excellent idea to start putting together a backup supply... something more than the single dose that you have on hand now. Look how much trouble it was to round up enough medicine THIS time.
I figure that every clusterhead should ALWAYS have around 10 grams (about 5 doses) of carefully dried and stored shrooms on hand so that they can immediately do a dose at the very first sign of the return of The Beast... whether it is a few weeks from now (unlikely) or a few months from now (possible) or a year or more from now (almost a certainty).

I've got 14 people (that's no misprint) on the hunt on my behalf and I feel procurement is close at hand. Nice to read a refreshing note about the efficacy of the shroom treatment.
For anyone reading this, Shroom tea is available legally in Jamaica. I realize that this is the not the most affordable remedy but if the CH interferes with your life as it does mine, a quick trip and a tan may not be all that bad in relation.
PSM--I'll be reporting on my progress with the psilocybin once I get my hand off my forehead and onto the shroom.
Preesh all your work on the subject and your continued support on the board.
