Truth is there are very little new therapies are available to CH suffers with the possible exception of "botox" and "shrooms". The trick is to find an affective combination of what is already available. Complimentary therapies, or Eastern medicine are just that "COMPLIMENTARY" I wont insult anyone with a definition of complimentary. (Jonny; complimentary means it only assists with the primary treatment) Herbals are unproven, unpredictable and dangerous. How many people that use herbals truely investigate the scientific chemicle breakdown of the weeds and roots to determine if there is safe inter-action with more commonly Rx medications? Can you trust the dosage labels? There are numerous (?) medically Rx chemicle compounds (medications) available that are proven preventatives, abortives and yes, pain relievers (narcotics). This is the avenue to treating CH. Visit with a neuro, dump a neuro, educate a neuro, see many neuros if you must. The proper treatment for a severe and dibilitating illness lies in the hands of the professional.
