Just ran across agomelatine - which looks like it might (someday) be good for treating CH. It stimulates the melatonin receptors and blocks the serotonin 2C receptors. Has been tested on depression and related conditions with very little in the way of side effects. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agomelatine

Ah! The foreigners put on such airs Wearing the tangerine suits And their harlequin eyes. The pain they inspire Draws in harmonica melodies And the feathers of birds Which flame up at their touch. It all comes to light in the sheer Debonair. (Ellen)
