Thought I share this . Take a long tube sock fill it with rice and tie the end off . Put it in the freezer for ice pack or put it in the microwave for heat pack . It will work over and over . Rap it around the head or neck it works great . OH not my sock a new one or two would be best .

Thanks for the idea, Tom! Smiley
I'm going to keep that in mind.

I have one of those pillows, which has some sort of wheat inside of it, and it can be used in a similar manner. Too bad that pillow is now in a freezer, which is 300 kms away from me at my mom's house...

You know those knitted fleecy or woolly hats you can get for walking etc that have 2 layers?

If you make a little hole and fill loosely between the layers with wheat, you could use rice, or add some lavender if you like it, then sow up the hole.

You can freeze or heat that and it covers your whole head and doesn't fall off too easily!

Looks kinda odd especially in hot weather but I don't care when I need it.
