When considering mushrooms as a treatment modality...must they be fresh or will dried fungus work just as well? This 7 month long cycle needs to cease for me...its been unbearable this time around. And people say things get better wth age! I'll anticipate any response coming my way. Thanks.

potency diminishes with time & exposure to air. Fresh mushrooms are the most potent (IMHO) and dry to approximately 1/10th original weight. They retain good potency even after drying. Long term storage is in the freezer in air tight containers.
