Lithium question?

I got a script for lithium at the neuro today and he didn't know if there is a drug interaction with the LSA RC seeds because the hospital firewall would not let him look up any illicit drugs on the computer. Info please?

Thanks,

From the Clusterbuster site:

LSA FAQ

1.2 Detoxing
Although we are still learning which medications have an effect on this treatment, it is generally believed that triptans (imitrex etc.), steroids (prednisone), opiods (fentanyl, 'caines etc.), ergotamines (sansert etc) will block any therapeutic value of LSA and/or psilocybin.

Likewise, MAOI's and Lithium must be avoided.
Additionally, it is recommended that the same detoxing procedures outlined in the psilocybin FAQ should be followed. There is additional information to be found here regarding which medications should be avioded. http://www.clusterbusters.com/faq.html#4

Lithium should be avoided if you plan to continue using seeds, Roland.

The lithium is working better than I would have expected. I still get a hint of an attack around 7 PM now and then. The trigeminal nerve swells up and my neck gets stiff but the pain is only K1-2, and only 10-15 min in duration. I am slowly starting to get my life back after 4 yrs of chronic daily hits. I am at 300mg x 2 per day.

I hope all are well!

I took 900mg of lithium for a couple of years and then it quit working.  It was a godsend when it was working though.  I pray it works a long time for you.
