Anyone have this same issue with Trex 4mg?

I've been having shadows for about 2 months now, after finally breaking free from being chronic and having 6 wonderful month PF. Well Saturday, I was home alone with both kids and got slammed with a kip 9. I grabbed the trex from my purse and had my oldest give me a shot. This was my first time using the 4mg dose, but it was kind of weird. I didn't get the creeping under my skin feeling, or the kick in the chest feeling, but it also didn't kick the headache down past a kip 5. Any time I have used the 6 mg dose, it pretty much kills the headache. Looks like I'll keep both boxes around to use depending on the severity of the headache. And yes, I am horribly afraid of needles and have never been able to give myself a shot. I feel like shit that my 4 year old had to do it, but it beat the heck out of the mess I was before the shot! We're all different. For me, 3mg is fine, 2mg and I get the effects you mentioned. I save my 4mg injections for travel as I love them. I think you just have to find what you need. I also learned that if I do not take enough, I will have shadows the next day.

Don't feel bad about your little un giving you a shot. I can't bring myself to do it either and have to rely on my partner. luckily so far he's been around when I need him, but I'm sure the day will come when my oldest will have to do the honours!

keep your face to the sunshine and you will never see the shadow. Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much. Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light. Helen keller
