I was paying $142.00 for the Stat injections, until I meet the UnitedHealthcare deductible. Then the copay was $4.20. Unfortunately, I had to spend about $2000 before that happened.
It's just a rip off. They will tell you they need to fund research, blah, blah.

You don't just decide to invent something and then start selling it. It has to be tested, tested some more, then retested before the FDA will even consider looking at it. Then they make the manufacturers jump through some incredibly high and small hoops before they'll grant them a license to sell the stuff. I think I heard that it's a minimum of seven years from invention and patent to drug store shelf. All the people involved in the development of that substance and the marketing of it need to be paid for those seven years before they make dime one in profit off of it.
