How to: RC Seeds

For a newbe, the information on how to take Rivea Corymbosa(RC) seeds is scattered and sometimes dated. This is an attempt to consolidate some of the current knowledge base. I don’t doubt there are errors or omissions, but this is what I have learned from this wonderful knowledge base on an exciting, natural, alternative. Normal precautions apply: Consult you doctor; do your own research; your results may vary, this is just a guideline, etc. 1) Detox from everything, non natural, for 5 days prior will yield best results. Some report success while on Verapamil, but it is probably a good idea to ramp down as much as you can prior. Use O2, Taurine, Glyonutrients, etc. 2) After detox, crush with a pepper crusher and soak 25-30 seeds in water for 2 hours or more. Soaking in alcohol, white wine, for up to 24 hours may provide for maximum potency. 3) Drink all of it, including seed powder. If it was soaking in wine for a long time it may not be necessary to drink the seeds, but it doesn’t taste too bad. 4) Most users feel no effects at all, except for a good nights sleep. Antidotal evidence suggest you may feel a “2 drink buzz”, but others think you need much more for a buzz. 5) Changes in frequency and duration of CH for next few days is expected, but should be minor with the possibility of an occasional big one. 6) Redose every 3-5 days as needed. Some re-dose more frequently, but loss of effectiveness is the concern. 7) 3-5 crushed seeds under the tongue may act as an abortive. Some say as good as Trex! Liquid dose(usually less potent) should work the same. Maintenance dose of 10-15, or more, seeds every month or so may help keep the best at bay. Personally, and few have tried this, Glyconutrients may help detox as it appears to work as a preventative in large doses. Approximately, 1.5 teaspoons of Ambrotose or Glycomannan in place of 80mg Verapamil. Need to ramp up on the glyconutrient while ramping down on the meds. That's a pretty good summary of the info at the clusterbuster site. The site suggests that a first dose for RC seeds is 5 seeds.

Its a fair basic summary. The trouble is its just a summary. I have been reckless in the past and someone set me straight each time. One of the problems with taking medications into our own hands is that we dont generally have the advantages of a prescribing doctor and a knowledgable pharmacist. Clusterbusters.com has made an enormous effort to cover a lot of bases and tried to put as many cautions out as possible. Some great minds have worked on the site to try and keep us all safe. One thing I would most certainly add or change is your normal precautions statement. anyone using alternate medications can develop serious issues. The possibility of adverse reactions due to underlying mental conditions is huge. Even bigger is that if pregnant possible abortion of the child could occur. Drug interactions are big as well. I would say major pre-cautions should apply and this seemingly harmless medication could have potential for life changing experiences both good and bad. LSA, is not something to approach lightly. Though most of us have no issues, that 1 in 100 could be a very bad issue. I am allergic to only one medication and that is run of the mill aspirin, but the effects are pretty nasty.
