Since in the past I have only visited this site randomly to see if there were any new therapies, I just now found out that people sprint to get rid of an attack. (I haven't been on the board in like 3 mos). Well I told the bf about it, so he kept some running shoes and workout gear by the bed. The night before last, he didn't have one which was great, but last night he did. He went in the workout room and ran his behindo ff for 12 min, and came back in. I looked at him and said "Did it work?" and when he said yes, I thought he was kidding. But he was serious!! I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy! I fealt like if the fan wasn't on so high, I would have been jumping on the bed! I just wanted to say thank you because a very few things have worked for him. I could see the relief in his eyes, it was so great.

Has he tried oxygen? The workout thing used to abort for me, now I use the 02 and it'll abort in 6-8 minutes. If he hasn't tried it, or didn't know how to do it correctly, might be worth a shot! So happy he's found some relief I can't imagine how frustrating it is for a supporter, you're a saint for being his researcher!!! Guiseppi

He has fought tooth and nail to get O2, but docs won't give him an RX. Poor guy has been to dozens of doctors in his oife (hes had them since 6- hes 27) and none have wanted to rx him with O2. He's had the imitrex shots before but they were soooo expensive. His last job's insurance wouldn't even pay for the imitrex because it was so expensive and then the job he has now doesn't have insurance (he is considered a contractor at this job) and no insurance that we can afford would accept him with this kind of pre-condition without a -hefty- monthly price that we can't afford. So basically he's up sh*t creek. I tried to go to the doctor and act like I had clusters (my job has insurance, but since we aren't married I can't get him on) and the idiot doc said I had migranes. MIGRANES DON'T LAST FOR 45 MIN! Eh, how annoying. He wouldn't even rx imitrex tabs!
