Unused meds

Is there any way to pass along any unused meds for those without Ins? I have a script of Depakote that I used one pill out of, and I hate to throw it away. Also a little bit of Trex that I don't need. I know there are legal issues, but am not sure what they are. I am NOT trying to sell them by any means, but if it could be done I would be happy to give them to someone in need. Jerry

you can't send medicines through the postal service. Maybe if someone close to you needs them , He/She should contact you so they can be deliver in person. I sent an extra package of Cafergot I had left and I think this person never got it, and I used UPS....but the package never made it back to me either...

Jerry, It is not legal to give medications to any person to whom the script wasn't written for. I suggest keeping it in a paper bag in the drawer of your refridgerator until you go back into cycle. Here is the kicker... Try not to confuse your meds with the meds a clusterhead may "forget" and leave behind while visiting your place. Sometimes those have to be returned to the rightful owner

Redd is right. I usually save my unused meds for next cycle - they might lose a bit of potency, but remain safe for many years (according to my doc). However .... sometimes, one of my clusterhead friends leaves something at my house. I just post a reminder for them to pick it up, or I might send a PM. Hugs, Kris

Jerry, Meds can not be offered or received without perscription unless they are samples provided by ones own doctor. There are plenty of people who happen to leave thngs at eachother's houses though. You may want to pose that question instead. Dave, You may want to check if it is your particular stuff that was left at Jerry's place and IM him as well.
