RC seeds success continues.
« on: Jun 29th, 2007, 12:48pm »

Its been a while since I posted here. Thought I'd provide an update.

1 year and 6 months have passed since my last major cluster attack. (well maybe just one short hit around 6 months ago when I tried to test the waters without a maintenance dose.)

I have continued to dose with RC seeds every 30-45 days as minor symptoms begin to appear.

Treatment costs are cheap, cheap, cheap, and side effects are non existant.

1 and a 1/2 years way cool for me.

Thanks to you clusterbusters and all who post of their experiences, knowledge and opinions.

Hi, liquid -

RC seeds are the seeds of a flowering vine, Rivea corymbosa. They contain LSA, a chemcial cousin to psilocybin and LSD, and it is illegal to eat them, even in the small, non-hallucinogenic amounts it takes to stop cluster headaches.

But it is generally legal to buy the seeds and grow the vines for the beautiful trumpet-shaped flowers.

Way to go MJ!  I'm excited for you.

I know the seeds have saved me, and I continue my little monthly low dose.  I had been pain free for over 24 months when my cycle tried to start in January but I took a 30 seed dose right away, and another 30 seeds 5 days later, and the cycle was gone.

It's back to the monthly, and life is good!

Keep taking that monthly dose, and if you feel the beast knocking at your door, hit him with a "buster" dose and see how fast he leaves.

Bob

I don't post about other meds, the prescription types, because I have so little experience or knowledge about them.  But, I will always be here to post about my success story (or even a failure) about using rc seeds.  I think the alternatives that Clusterbusters reports about are valid, helpful, and, damn it, they work!  At least for me.

Thank you for putting this information out here.  Hopefully, someday, someone will be given the grants to study about what an awesome help LSA, LSD, can be to sufferers of all kinds of diseases, CH included.

I truly appreciate your help.

Sorry, jb.  I would never forget the sillycybin.    Include them, too. Grin

After a very bad experience with prescribed meds after surgery when I was 19, I've never been one to take a lot of meds for anything I've had to go through, mostly, I guess, because I just don't like it makes me feel.  Yes, I've had prescribed pain meds for surgeries (two abdominal surgeries, four arthros on my knees, with knee replacement, and arthro on the other knee at the same time, two natural childbirths), and in every case, I told the docs either no meds, or to stop the meds the day after the surgery because I didn't like the way they made me feel.  I felt I wasn't in "control" and I didn't like it at all.

Then, along came CH, which was a whole "nother" thing.  I was prescribed Imitrex 50mg tabs.  They helped, not fast enough, but helped.  After about 4 weeks on the tabs during that cycle, I developed heart palpitations.  This was something I had never experienced and didn't like it one bit.  Called my doc, and trex is out of the picture for me, forever.

After that cycle, because of my aversion to meds, I checked into Clusterbusters.  Yes, some will say, this IS a med treatment, but it's a natural drug, not manmade or chemically treated, and I've had no side effects whatsoever.  Now, I rely on rc seeds at sub-trip doses and oxygen.  That's it, and so far, I'm very pleased with how this combination is working for me.

Thats right Sandy a natural alternative. Sure beats the chemically altered poison. Palpitations suck..makes ya think your done. I began feeling the effects of the pred in my hips and knees, that with age, the failure of conventional meds, and the probability that these are going to be around for awhile led me to the alternatives. One can only tolerate so many drug therapies. They ultimately fail anyway.
Ain't skeered no mo. Still have the old guns around, but like you I have had good success with shrooms, seeds, and 02.
02 first alway's, then seeds, and when needed out comes the big hammer. It has worked two out of three times, and saved alot of pain and money. The only time the alternatives failed was due to operator error Roll Eyes Dont like the alternatives either, however it is the lesser of two...make that three evils.
all the best

Just got my RC seeds today. I've been geting slamed all night long for the last 4 days. Just took 30 seeds, hope they work! I soaked them in white wine for two hrs.

What is the best way to crush them? I used two tea spoons to crush them, I hope that was good enough.

I'll update on how they work, I hope they work! I can not find shrooms anywhere, just don't know the right people for that kinda stuff. Wish me luck all.

Thanks for the idea.

Ordered my RC seeds online a few days ago, chose FedEx International Priority shipping.

FedEx tracking has informed me of an "international clearance delay" ("goods are subject to agricultural review") - so my parcel is held up somewhere in Indianapolis.

Is this bad?  Has anyone else ever experienced this?  Should I be worried or is this just standard procedure for any type of seeds or plants one might buy from overseas?

Any info, insight or opinions appreciated...

Crossing my fingers,

Roland I hope you had some luck. It can take a few doses.

The wine scared me as its a major trigger for me in cycle. 1 or 2 oz's water may be better.
For me it works best to not soak at all simply dissolve under the tongue

The easiest way to crush the seeds is with a pair of pliers.
Some use a pepper grinder or coffee grinder. I think you lose to much good stuff with the electric coffee grinder.

Keep us posted.

I don't think I crushed them well enough with the spoons, I felt it a little. I stoped at Target after work and got a pepper mill, will try it again tonight. I only got hit when I woke up, and it was a bit different than norm. The beast left my eye alone, just temple pain for about an hour. I'm hopefull that grinding will give a better dose. It ground them very well, I got the the better grinder. I'll try the under the tongue thing this weekend. I'll heve to grind on paper and gingerly transfer to a spoon for that.

PFDAN, Roland.

PS MJ, thanks for the input. Do you keep them under tongue for two hours?

Good sounds like they may work for you. Most dont feel much more than "a little"

The fact that some change is apparent is a great sign. The next few days will be more telling.

It only takes a few minutes to dissolve completely under the tongue

I should have done that to begin with - I was looking for an in-country vendor but had trouble finding one.  Didn't think about the agricultural import aspect of it.  Will need to hunt around.  I still have plenty of time as I am still tapering from prednisone (will probably need another week at least) and will need 5 days after that.

One day the medical (moreso the political) world will come to realize and accept that everything has its use, and that everything can be abused.

If it is true that about 1 out 1,000 people suffer from CH, that makes about 300,000+ people in the USA or 6,000,000+ people in the world.

And if certain substances that have been deemed "medically useless" can help a certain percentage of those people, and could be prescribed based on an extensive physical / psychological profile to ensure their ability to handle any low-level psychedelic effects, then those people for whom psychedelics work could finally have an available, fresh, *safe* supply, ending mass suffering.

I feel this will one day become a reality, and am buoyed by the fact that there is an Rx drug out now (in certain states or areas) called Marinol, which is a derivative of marijuana - a great help for chemo patients to boost appetite, amongst other beneficial uses.

Until the inevitable day when an Rx becomes available, my (and many others') tried-and-true preventative is at the mercy of questionable availability, potency, purity and safety.

I have a feeling I'm going to have to raid a nice cow pasture and develop a green thumb.  Wink

I am hoping the seeds work well for me - logically they should, as I have responded well to psychedelics (remission for 2 yrs 2 mo - I feel the CH's came back because my last batch had been in the freezer for a year and had lost potency)  - they may be the answer I'm looking for.

I plan on sharing my method, experience and level of success as a testimony.  Hopefully I will be able to report good news!

Well, I slept through the night and no wake up attack this morning.

The pepper grinder method seems to have given a much better dose.

I am impressed with the results so far. I will update later, off to work I go.

Thanks MJ,
