Alternative Therapy Round Two ( Updated)

After years pain free the beast returned about 5 weeks ago.....pissed. Round one of my treatment can be found here. Please read this. I repeated the original treatmant but slightly increased the initial dose. The first senasation I had was the nerve affected by my CH felt "aggravated", if that make sense, kinda odd. Next day..........shadows.........hmmm...... Today...............nothing, no headache no shadows.....nada. The beast made an apperance this afternoon. A nice K-8 out of nowhere. It did not last too long. I hope it is a farewell. It is truly a miracle. I want need to know why I respond so well to this treatment. Has anyone else been able to measure PF time in years? I reread my original post and cried......I am truly grateful to those who know who you are!.. All I can say is thank you!! Mark Clusterbusters Erowid Mycobag M.A.P.S

I tried the treatment three years ago and have been relatively pf since. I've only had two or three cycles in that time and they were very mild and didn't last longer than a week. I couldn't give this treatment a stronger recomendation. It gave me my life back.

I'm in the same boat right now. I really appreciated reading your original post. I just dosed yesterday to break a cycle I thought had already been broken. I got hit this afternoon by the nastiest CH I've ever had. It started at 1230pm and lasted until 133pm. The MFer took a 10 min break, then came back for another hour and a half. Sick to my stomach, crying, and considering the ER for the first time in a long time. Persistant shadowing over the next few hours, then nothing. Currently not on any meds, but seeing a new Neuro next week. Going to push for the o2, but hoping I won't need it until next year.

Exactly what is your "alternative therapy?" Nevermind, I just read your old post. When all my "stuff" (verapamil, zomig clonodine, caffeine, prednisone, stops working -I have been a chronic for 11 yrs. now and have tried almost everything else - I may ask what exactly "shrooms" are. For now, hope you are all having successes. PF times. Madaline

Hi Mark, Glad to hear you've had success with this style of treatment. It actually provides me with a heads up of what to expect when I embark on my own therapy. Hopefully, I'm about 3-4 weeks off in terms of availability. I hope to have the success you, and many others, have experienced. I am currently off all preventatives (about 7 weeks now), it's tough letting go of that Trex though! I'm thinking 2-3 weeks off that before my first session should be good. I am eager to start kicking some Beast ass!!! Best of luck and continued success to you.

| I can! After doing the dance every other year for about 18 years I have not had a full blown cluster since Feb '03. I have dosed every 6 months either with the fungus or RC seeds and still nothing. There have been a few times when it felt like a hit was ramping up on a nightly basis but it has never broke through. I will always be grateful for what you and the Clusterbusters have done Bob. Jim

Finger's crossed for you, Always like a happy ending, doubt I'd have got such a good result without alternatives.
