Preventive attempt

So I wanted to see if I could nip things in the bud by dosing with RC seeds at the first sign of a cycle ramping up. I’d had a few shadows and scalp tingles, so at about 9 p.m. April 14 I took 30 rivea corymbosa seeds soaked 12 hours in water. Psychoactive effects: slighly excited feeling for about fifteen minutes; slight tendency to smile and chuckle for a couple hours, then fell asleep easily. Effects were mild enough they may have been imaginary. I was shadow free the next day, shadowy the day after that, then back and forth until I had a 20 minute K5 last Saturday while hiking out in the hot sun. It faded as soon as I cooled off and rehydrated. I was tempted to dose again that evening, but decided to hold off. I’ve had a few shadows since then, but can avoid those by staying cool and avoiding too much salt. Now it’s two weeks since the dose. It’s possible a cycle isn’t developing , but it’s also possible I’m fending off the return of the beast with one dose of RC seeds. Let’s hope I don’t suffer the curse of speaking too soon. -tommyD

Tommy, why not take a dose every month or so, just as a matter of route ... Maybe it will keep the beast at bay forever? Chuck

Let’s hope I don’t suffer the curse of speaking too soon. Good luck Tommy. Look forward to hearing the results. Doug

Well, just figgurs, Sunday got hit, but just a 40-min. K3, with a 15-min peak at K 5+. Might have been triggered by some solvents a buddy was using to clean machinery. I was tempted to do a dose of seeds - in fact, I ground up and soaked 30 seeds, but decided to hold off to see if things got worse. I want to see how much and how long that one dose can do. And sometimes patience works wonders. So I put the seed slurry in the freezer, so I can quickly thaw it out when needed. By the way, this might be a good way to prepare for cycle season: soak a bunch of doses, each in about one or two ounces of water for as long as desired (two hours is minimum, longer may increase potency) then freeze them. It only takes a minute or two to thaw, and you’re ready to dose. But thaw gently, be careful not to get seed slurry hot, LSA doesn’t like heat. You could make RC seed popsicles, but please have someone video your face when you try eating one. -tommyD
