I have been using it for about a month, and it really does the job when the shadows start.. it has gotten rid of the dance before it starts.. its homeopathic, an otc product hey, whatever works! right? tommy

The commercials annoyed me too much to ever try it!  Seriously though, I did see someone post that it helped them with their shadows. As I understand it, it's an analgesic that's absorbed through the skin, which seems like it would get to the pain area quicker. My personal guess is it's strictly a mild pain killer and while it would be great for the annoying shadows it wouldn't be much against a full blown CH.
As you so eloquently put it, if it works, great!

No. I bought it for my clusterhead husband for $8 and it doesn't do a thing.
Right now he's on combo prednisone, depakote, amerge and still in a cycle. At least he is out of bed today.

I used to do the head into the wall therapy. That didn't work, so I'm sticking with Trex.

I dont believe for a minute that that stuff works for a true cluster headache. Either you are trying to lure customers, or you dont suffer from CH.

I think he meant he uses it for shadows. I've used tylenol, advil or aspirin...which as I understand it is what the main ingredient in this is, for light shadows. In the beginning or end of a cycle, sometimes it's nice to knock the beast junior off with an OTC.

Oh, I definately have it.. Ive been chronic since novermber of 04. Diagnosed in spring of 05.. finally.. nobody knew what the hell was going on.. And I am not trying to push this product..All I know is that I use the migraine type, prior to drinking coffee to get rid of the attack.. Most of the time, it kills the shadow, but it has stopped a full blown attack, usually the 130 am wake you up , time to start screaming .. I go from a shadow to full blown attack in 5 minutes or so Aspirin, does not help at all.. (so the first neuro told me) after he diagnosed the Ch. I already knew that been using ibuprofen..but was cautioned about too many can cause liver problems. Im now on verapamil, and melatonin at night. Hey, works for me,, I feel somewhat human again. if it took a witch doctor, throwing bones in the air, and waving eagle feathers at me, and gave me relief, thats what I would use.. tommy

You dont suppose that maybe, just maybe, its the caffiene that is easing your shadows ?
Head On for CH would be like changing the oil on this.

oh please please please let me pick this theory apart. Please?
Head-on. Seems it does this: goes into the skin in much the same way that Ben-Gay does. OUR pain goes one hell of a lot deeper than that. ERGO, it could not possibly work on the deep Trigeminal nerves and it's 3 branches.
Aspirin causes liver problems? ya think?
it was probably the caffeine in the coffee that gave you relief, my friend.
