I have an appt for my headaches and I'm going to a Neuro, my symptoms match up to CHs...What exactly does the doctor do to determine this problem? MRI's, CTs, takes your word? Can anyone tell me the norm of the doctor visits?? Thanks!

like anything else there are diagnostic criteria. If your symptoms match then it may be that you have them It is also important the the doctor is a headache specialist. Not every neuro understands HA http://216.25.100.131/upload/CT_Clas/ihc_II_main_no_print.pdf

Usually an office visit with the GP. Then a trip to a Nuerologist, an MRI to rule out other causes. After that it's, if it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck.... all the best jb
