Has anyone tried Luenesta? Did it help CH's? If not did it help you get a good night's sleep? Any info welcome. Thanks

I haven't tried Lunesta, but one thing that I took out of cycle that made me sleep like a LOG was Tylenol PM--that stuff knocks you out--not recommending it for the treatment of cluster headaches but I wondered if anyone here has tried that during cycle. Sorry I have never tried Lunesta. Star

Lunesta and some of the other new sleep meds increase REM sleep. REM sleep is my enemy, as my clusters seem to live there sometimes. So, no, my doctor tried to give me Lunesta because I've been pretty danged sleep deprived, but I did not take it. Melatonin with benadryl works great for me. Doc did throw in 25 mg of elavil at night. Am sleeping through waking headachy, but still with a good 6-7 hours of sleep a night. Feels good-more energy to deal with daytime hits. Good luck, and let us know if you try it. PFDAN y'all kathy
