After 2 years off (in 27 yrs), he's back! A loving friend bought me a bottle of this CoQ 10(23.99!), saying she heard it may help. I took one and had an extended visit that night. Not sure if there was any connection, because this new cycle is wack! Switching sides, irratic hit times, etc... Anyone heard of useing this? PFDAN

Last year after they had been gone for 2-3 years(first time ever) my headches returned and had switched sides and incresed in intensity. The good thing is that the clester did not last as long, thoguh they're back right now. I took coezyme Q10(I'm guessing it is the same) three times a day and after I got thre rgith theraputic amount in my body I believed tht it really did help. I hope that this helps a little. Much luv and many PF wishes. Pfunk

I've seen only one reporton Q10 for headache and the results were--interesting--but hardly a clear winner. Besides, the dose used in the trial was so high that it would cost a bundle to use it. In the absence of better evidence, think you have a number of good, effective meds to use now. Here is a link to read and print and take to your doctor. It describes preventive, transitional, abortive and surgical treatments for CH. Written by one of the better headache docs in the U.S. (2002) http://www.brightok.net/~mnjday/chtherapy.pdf

You said: "Even those who are pure at heart...." ....And say their prayers by night, Can become a wolf, when the wolfbane blooms, And the moon is full and bright. (--Sorry. Just had to complete the gypsie's quote. It's a reflex.) If you are interested in supplements, you might look into daily magnesium supplements along with calcium supplements. They're inexpensive, and there's some evidence that magnesium supplementation may be of value to clusterheads, who are often deficient in magnesium. (The calcium supplements help cancel some of the adverse digestive effects of magnesium supplements.) Best wishes, George

Ah! The foreigners put on such airs Wearing the tangerine suits And their harlequin eyes. The pain they inspire Draws in harmonica melodies And the feathers of birds Which flame up at their touch. It all comes to light in the sheer Debonair. (Ellen)

I took it for a while. Didn't help with my CH - didn't cause more hits either.
