Cycle is dead!

Hi y'all. I just wanted to tell everyone that my cycle is finally OVER!!!! If no one has tried this before I strongly suggest trying it. Travel somewhere that has a somewhat different climate than where you live. I live in West Texas which in mostly desert and arid conditions and for Thanksgiving I went to my in-laws up near Tulsa, Oklahoma. I got hit all the way up there and I got a KIP 10+ on Thanksgiving at around 2pm. That was the very last one. I have not had so much as a shadow since 2pm on Thanksgiving. I don't know for sure if that is what did it or if the cycle had just run it's course. Either way, I could care less, the beast has scampered off into the woods once again with his tail between his legs. Hopefully, he will stay away this time until there is a cure for these damnable things. PF days and nights to all

Glad you found some time off I have spent the better part of the last 20 years trying to run away from this bi#ch, everything from 9000ft in the Rockies to the Island of St. Marteen with deserts and extreme wet places in between and all I have gotten rid of is all my money. good luck and I hope you get a very long break....Tim

Congrats, that's the best feeling in the world! You know, both times my cycle started coincided with a drastic change in temperature. My first time I had left a week long vacation in 100 temps in Virginia, and stayed the night in PA, where it was really cold. Clusters started that night. Second cycle, was camping for several days in late July, really warm. Came home and slept in a cold air conditioned room, clusters started that night. Perhaps our hypothalamuses doesn't know how to deal with drastic changes like that?

You know that old kid's song, "The Cat Came Back"? --------------------------------- Old Mister Johnson had troubles of his own He had a yellow cat which wouldn't leave its home; He tried and he tried to give the cat away, He gave it to a man goin' far, far away. But the cat came back the very next day, The cat came back, we thought he was a goner But the cat came back; it just couldn't stay away. Away, away, yea, yea, yea The man around the corner swore he'd kill the cat on sight, He loaded up his shotgun with nails and dynamite; He waited and he waited for the cat to come around, Ninety seven pieces of the man is all they found. But the cat came back the very next day, The cat came back, we thought he was a goner But the cat came back; it just couldn't stay away. Away, away, yea, yea, yea ------------------------- Etc, etc....upping the ante to get rid of the cat in each new verse. Basically, you can't get rid of the cat. It keeps coming back no matter where you go, and no matter what you do. CH is like that cat. Best, George

Ah! The foreigners put on such airs Wearing the tangerine suits And their harlequin eyes. The pain they inspire Draws in harmonica melodies And the feathers of birds Which flame up at their touch. It all comes to light in the sheer Debonair. (Ellen)

Wife of a sufferer Yeah, we thought it might pass us by this year - his cycle usually runs 4 weeks in October and November. First week of December, it hit. We think its because of the extreme weather change - it was a very mild fall (mostly 70s/80s) and then when it got down into the 20s/30s for several days in a row - it hit. So extreme temperatures might be the cause for some people. Fort Worth, TX
