Grape Juice and Ginger Ale

OK as weird as it seems, I tried the grape juice and ginger ale treatment and it worked! 16oz glass, half grape juice and half ginger ale drunk right before bedtime.
I had been being aroused from sleep after 1~2 hours by the devil. Used the juice/ale three nights now and for three night it hasn't gotten me up.
Could this possibly be working?

Grape juice is a common home remedy for regular headaches. It was the first thing my father-in-law told me to take for CH.

I've heard of a few people who use ginger, or strong ginger ale for CH.
Whether it works or not, it sounds yummy.

Nani I know several people who swear by ginger for shadows and early hits too. I've not tried it myself though but it does sound nice!

I haven't tried grape juice myself, but I did drink ginger ale in my chronic days back in 2004. I did that just to lift my spirits up, it made absolutely no difference to my ch hits.
But I'm glad that you've found a combo which helps you. Let us know if it works on a long run. Some things help just occasionally and suddenly stop working. With this beast... who knows what will happen!

The ginger ale and grape juice thing stopped working, so it probably never worked to begin with.
That's what is so difficult about these damn things. You try something and you can never be sure of the results. They have a mind and schedule of their own.
I will keep doing the treatment until I run out of the ingredients. I have developed a taste for the mixture.........

Hmm... I must admit that I bought a tiny can of ginger ale and checked if it would help me out. Nah, no difference what so ever to ch, but hey, it was one of the best "meds" I've ever had!

whenever I go into cycle I buy Vernor's Ginger Ale (if you're from Detroit you know what I mean). Doesn't do a thing for my clusters but it immediately replaces beer as my drink of choice. And it gives me a warm feeling of nostalgia for my Detroit roots.
Now if I get the flu, it's Canada Dry Ginger Ale all the way.
I love ginger ale.
