I have been in cycle since August 7.  Taking Lithium 300mg three times a day.  I have done the prednisone taper three times while I am on I am cluster free no soon than the last day I get hit again.  I can no  longer take the prednisone my nuero said for a while and started me on 160 of verapamil yesterday.  I have been hit 7 times since I took it last night.  How long till it works?  I am on a low dose cause my bp is usually 110/60 and she wants to start low.  What do you think?

It takes several weeks to build up to an effective dose....and 160 is a very very low dose for CH.  Usually one starts taking it at the same time as beginning a steroid taper.

I think she is very smart!.....it will take between 7-10 days to saturate your system. If you have a dizziness please let your doc know!!....and it is not wise to drink any energy drinks while you are on Verapamil.

I took Lithium and Verapamil everyday for over 14 years, feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.
