need to divide nasal imitrex!!

has ANYONE been successful in trying to stretch out the nasal imitrex 20 mg's to get two doses from ONE..
COST REASONS..I'm spening 164.00 every 4 to 6 days since JUNE 23rd I think 10 mg or half of the 20mg will do the trick nightly..need ideas, considered using a kids nasal bulb to draw up the liquid if I can figure out how to break open nasals and pour into a vial or something..HELP

Hang on, beg the doc for freebies..try to use 02 or coffee to abort some of the headaches between the stronger NS. Use the NS only at night. Thats if they work for you. Check the manufacturer for programs to get meds to uninsured sufferers.
 Cut the cartridge in pieces and snort one at a time...lol  just kidding. There is help. The first stop is talk to the doc about it they are a big help sometimes. Ask for the samples.

I personally do not know or have heard of anyone splitting a NS Imitrex. The shots (autoinject) can be split. I ASSUME that you have no RX medical insurance?
If you do, the doc can ask for an "override" and obtain the necessary quantity that you would need. As in the previous post, ask for freebies.
Have you tried oxygen? A lot cheaper.
