Trigeminal ablative therapy?

Has anyone had ablative therapy to the trigeminal nerve or at least had nerve block shots to the trigeminal?  
 
If so, did it work?  
 
Was your eye affected at all? (During an attack, my eye feels like it is going to pop out from some kind of pressure anyway!)
