Has anyone found a tie-in between Advair and CH?
In our effort to determine what may have triggered this current round of CH, we determined that advair had been stopped shortly before onset.  The only other thing we could think of was that we had started borage oil but am having a hard time thinking this had anything to do with the onset.

No, I had not heard of starting or stopping this or Borage oil contributing as contributing to ch.  The current belief is that ch is caused by a dodgie hypothalamus.

Charlotte, thanks for response.  Since realized that CH had been threatening before going off the advair then got horrible when off and now better when back on advair.  Probably just the course of this episode.

Advair contains Solu Medrol which helps many sufferers including myself ... but the dose in the Advair is so small, it should have no effect either way. I'd guess the beast was coming anyways.

Maybe but I have had some success in lessening the effects of CH using ephedrine in the past which is also a bronchial dilator as is advair. I dont fully understand how it works with CH but it helped me tremendously between the full hits. Eliminated shadows, stimulant, etc..
These types of things (like ephedra)have been used for many years in the treatment of headache.

edit: to add they can also cause headaches too.
