After a three year hiatus the devil has returned with a vengence. This time the verapamil is not effective. Thank GOD the ZOMIG nasal spray still works to abort the attack within 10 minutes if taken before the Kip 6-9 pain level is achieved. The only problem (other than I feel like a drozy zombie all day) is that I am limited to 2 Zomigs a day. Thus to limit the headaches to 2 a day I am using masterbation to ward off 1-2 of them a day or at least delay them for hours. This is no joke. It works 100% of the time but only if I start before the pain takes hold and only if I can reach a state of near orgasm which is not always easy if the pain builds quickly or if I am tired. When I get to the point of near orgasm or orgasm the pain goes away as quickly as it does with zomig or imitrex. Unfortuantely, the effects are not as long lasting as with drugs as the headaches will return within 4-6 hours. With the drugs they may not return for 8-20 hours. I asked my doc about it and rather than throwing a strait jacket on me or having me register as a sex offender he told he that there have been studies confirming masterbation or sex for short lived relief same as vigorous exercise for some people. For those who dont have access to the meds or who have used up their daily supply give it a try. You have nothing to lose. Just remember that you have to start early, as soon as you get that feeling its coming(pardon the pun) before the real pain starts.

Several people have reported that exercizing such as running, brisk walk, anything to get the heart rate up will help to abort the ch. I am thinking that masterbation may play along this same line. It gets the heart rate up. You may find a good workout will help you just the same. Good luck in exploring.

I think most people are just uncomfortable with the subject. Therefore...you get the reaction you do.
Actually, I heard about this maybe 8 years ago in regards to migraines. And, when you experience pain like we do...you'll try anything. Hell, if you can masturbate to feel good, why not masturbate to feel BETTER?
Sadly, this method did not work for me. I wish it had. And to tell the truth, occasionally I try again  .

Sorry, I don't like to get into religious battles (But you started it!). Maybe, just maybe, Onan died, because he disobeyed God... Not because he masturbated. I really don't think that verse has anything to do with masturbation. I believe it has to do with disobeying your God. That is if you believe in a mean and vengeful God that punishes and hurts his children! Personally, I believe that God is loving and wants only the best for us (hence the gift of self-pleasure). Children are the most inocent of all people and before they are even able to learn anything from the adults around them, they are all ready exploring and touching ALL there parts. Because it feels good. If God killed Onan because he masturbated, then we would barely have a society today. God would be way to busy, "getting rid" of all the sinners.

Talk about mistaking content for context. If this was an anti-masterbation story it would say, "Onan spilled his seed on the ground and it displeased the LORD. He died a horrible death in the land of Canaan soon after as a direct result of the whole seed spilling incident.

Always wear safety goggles when "masterbating", InYourEye, because if any of that "stuff" gets "in your eye" you will go blind!(and wear THICK rubber gloves to prevent the growing of unsightly and unwanted hair on your palms!)
If it only bought you a half hour of relief-and figuring it might take 15 minutes to achieve the desired release-it hardly seems worth it as you'd be spending virtually your whole day in the toilet. That will be sure to get you fired, ESPECIALLY if you tell your boss why you are spending so much time in the toilet (unless "it" is covered under the Americans With Disabilities Act for either CH or compulsive masturbation-best to check it out with your Human Resources Department at work).
Again, make sure that you use PLENTY of KY Jelly and drink plenty of fluids so that your tool doesn't get worn away and you don't dehydrate!
