Just finished my last Pred Taper, god I hate the stuff & i'm telling myself I aint going back on it no matter what. Ive had bone or muscle aches in my legs & put on a fair bit of weight Im now hoping the Verapamil & Melatonin will keep the CH's at bay. A couple of nights ago I thought my cycle had finished as I went a couple af nights without getting hit then last night I got hit with a KIP7 , maybe something to do with it being the first night off the Pred. One question, if I stay off the Pred will I lose the weight I put on? (please say yes )

Not only will you lose the weight you put on but men will find you incredibly beautiful, you will be the most popular person at any party you attend, celebrities will fawn over you......... For me the wight drops off pretty quick when I stop the prednisone, but my 46 year old body breaks out with acne like I'm 15 years old again! I'm with you. I hate going on the prednisone but it takes about 10 days for my lithium to ramp up when I go back on cycle. I hope you have oxygen or some other abortive in case the verapamil doesn't hold, wishing you luck and some pain free time. Guiseppi

WWW.MELDRUM.DEMON.CO.UK/migraine. At bottom of home page, look for FAQ on clusters: four sections of extensive material; strong on treatment options.

I have funny experiences from Pred. It made me HAPPY and bit hyper twice. Sure, I didn't sleep, but I dot a lot done when I woke up at 5am (instead of 8/9). Then once the pred I got in UK, it made me depressed. It was strange how big difference it was in comparison with the pred I got back in Finland, which made me too happy! Sanna
