Sinus Buster..Not so Bad

I was skeptical about trying it since I have heard mixed reviews. The only reason i considered it is because I have had instances where extremely spicy food has tamed symptoms or aborted attacks. It did drive away some shadows but I do not think they would have transformed into full blowns anyway. i tried at the beginning stages of a headache that was about a kip 5.It didnt get any worse and it was gone in about 20 mins but i shot about 6 sprays up my nose in intervals of about 4 mins. So far it seems ok but I dont think this thing has a chance of doing anything against a 9/10 but ill give it a shot. Has Anyone else given it a shot and has it worked or not worked for them?

| I'll settle for tying them to a tree and hosing them with bear spray until they drip. I've heard of some double-blind trials that seem to indicate some sort of therapeutic effect, with half receiving pepper mace (which is basically what we're talking about here) and half receiving a placebo. I'd be interested to know how they kept the half who received the placebo in the dark. It'd be pretty obvious that you were getting the salt water. To each his own--although I'm willing to bet that you'll change your mind down the road. Best wishes and hopes for pain-free times ahead, George

| No. I spent tomany years buying snake oils. Dont need to do that any more with medically proven effective medications on the market.

What is really going to be funny are the peddler wars that will soon beginning here between the sinus buster peddlers and the new Sinol peddlers. Shant be long now....dueling shills http://www.prweb.com/releases/2006/8/prweb429576.htm It will be interesting to hear if the professionals quoted as saying capsascin "has incredible efficacy" will comment upon the new sales pitches Bobw This has nothing to do with John...just thought it was a good thread to stick it in.

Ok here is a further update on my Sinus Buster usage. It definetly clears shadows.Everytime it has cleared 90% of my shadows if i hit them early enough. Of my full blown CH it had little effect but some. You can definetly prevent a CH from becoming full blown with it. I aborted one full blown by shooting about 6-7 shots up my nose in 20 second intervals it was gone in about 5mins. So far I would definetly not say its a miracle by any means but it does have some positive effects. My only complaint is that you need to take a good amount to have an affect on anything signifigant and @ 23.00 a bottle i think its a little pricey. What is this sinol product? Basically the same thing? Thanks guys.BTW i am in no way trying to advocate Sinus Buster or tell anyone they should go purchase.Im simply reporting on my experience with it along with the other 6 things im doing to try to end this nightmare.

with so many options for treatment of CH the idea of shooting mace up your nose just seems......well......just kind of stupid/stubborn. have you tried oxygen? have you tried imitrex? have you tried any of the alternative treatments that actually have a large amount of anectdotal support here on these pages? what have you tried prior to determining shooting pepper sauce up your sinus cavity? you mention "mixed reviews". I haven't seen anything "mixed" about the information. yes, inevitably someone will post the research paper that supports "boo" regarding sinusbuster other than to say that it temporarily distracts the sufferer from their CH, by creating severe discomfort. i would bet that installing a catheter in the middle of a CH would work too, but I'm thinking I'll stick to the path successfully taken. Well to be honest im not covered under insurance so I cannot afford Imitrex & Oxygen i have just been relying on Redbulls,Magnesium,Kudzu,Melatonin,Taurine,Caffeine Etc. As for Sinus Buster i figured i would just give it a shot.Like i said it does have its uses its great for shadows and baby CH but its useless on anything above a 5.I would definetly not be buying it again in the near future. Trust me i would much prefer to be on oxygen & Imitrex shots.Especially after this mornings Nightmare.I had to go into work 2 hours late.

rather try the cluster buster treatment befor sinus busters.... at least that has alot of positive feedback... plus for the price of one bottle of sinus busters, well.... I won't go into specifics... In short rather have a fun enjoyable night expanding my reality and resetting my hyperthalamus, then busting mace in my nose... I tried using chili powder, didn't do anything for me... I think was mind over matter for shadows... If these things stick around (waiting for neuru visit), I am 100 percent sure I will be trying the cluster buster's method... If money is a problem John, I would say go for it...
