Pain doctors

I went to a pain doctor yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. He was very knowledgeable re: CH. He gave me some suggestions for aborting and treating head pain, some I've seen here, some not. Thanks to all of you that helped me become versed on terminology, I was able to speak with him using words like 'abortive, preventative' etc. He was very interested in Dr. Sewell's report which I printed out and gave to him. I am thrilled that I have had only one time for about 45 minutes today where my head couldn't make up it's mind if it was going to slam me constantly or what. It was stab stab stab, but no real steady pain. This is in a stretch of 17 hours, that is so good. This is the most time without daily pain since December. It may be the new anti seizure meds the neuro gave me. I feel so good.
