Thank you for everyone who has been so supportive. I am starting to have some success in the treatment plan of kudzu, neurontin, and Indocin. I have actually made it through several of the time slots for my every 2 hour ha with only a shadow and not the pain. The Indocin alone did not help, but combined with the kudzu & neurontin, it is helping. I am very hopeful. Charlotte

I'm hopeful for you too, Charlotte. I'm not all that sure that your docs are right that you're not going through cluster. I've just skimmed some of your posts and I know I don't have all the details, but...I dunno, sure could be cluster IMHO.

It is kind of wierd and it is a struggle, but this is day 5 of week 2 on my neurontin escalation, and day 3 using Indocin. Some of my friends at work discussed the meds today and told me they can see it is working. I am very fortunate in my support system. Love at home, love at work, and love here. Charlotte

| If a HA type is going tobe responsive to indocin you are right on path withwhat the literature suggests. You can consider this effective. It may just be the indocin Like everyone siad.......don't care what you have! Glad you are finding relief

the instructions in 2000 were 1 indocin every 8 hours and that did not work any better than over the counter stuff. The new directions are 1 or 2 every 8 hours. The Kaiser pharmacy is out of Indocin (lol) so I am using the 2000 Indocin. 2 works, 1 does not work. New doc was going to phone in a time release version & see if that was in stock. My understanding is that Indocin is the only drug in that family. Is that correct? Charlotte ps whew, the time release version is in stock & I will get it after work.
