how much taurine do you take to abort a headache once you get it?? and how quickly does it usually work? i doubt it would be as fast as imitrex right? thanks

My experience is with RedBull as an abortive. It works FAST (5 minutes). I think that BarryColes is using taurine supplements as a prevent, not an abortive.

I am taking
3 X 500mg Taurine & 3 X 500mg magnesium tablets per day with my meals and no other meds.
I have found that if I don’t take them when they are due I will start to shadow hard.
I am using it as a preventative and it looks like it's working.
I am going bush for the rest of the week and won’t be able to log in again until the weekend, I’ll check in then if you need more info.
