I am sure this has been discussed before, but right now I cant keep my left eye open enough to read the posts. I am at my wits end. My doc had to reduce my verapamil because of the side effects and my heart condition and for the past three days I have been getting hit non stop. I am desperate and I am heading out to the store right now to get kudzu. Is it ok to mix the kudzu with the 240 mg of verapamil and 12 mg of melatonin?

Kudzu has the same (but gentler) calcium channel blocking effects as verapamil. I don' t think that's what makes it so effective for us, though. I think the effects on the 5ht receptors is what works for us. If you are having a hard time with verap, you probably don't want to add kudzu. It may be able to replace the verap, though. If the verap isn't working, why stay on it? Especially at at lower dose. Talk to your doc about getting off the verap (slowly) and starting kudzu. pf wishes, nani
