Could anyone offer any help concerning regulators. The O2 company I deal with through the doctor will not provide a high flow regulator. I have found a local welding supply where I can purchase a tank but I am not sure about regulators. Thanks in advance

I use a 540 regulator on a welding tank. I got it from someone, who got it from Ebay.

Thanks for the help. My doctor is somewhat sympathetic to my needs but the medical supply company is not. I can't even get a non rebreather mask from them. My cycle is just starting. I have an appointment with the doc today but I would like to get the O2 lined up as quick as I can. My last cycle, verapamil completely stopped working so I am looking to use O2 more this time. Always something new. Such is the life we lead.

May be more worthwhile to change Medical Supply companies. You should have more than 1 option in a town the size of yours. Call another one to see if they can get what you NEED. scott

If your Doctor writes the script out detailing that you need a high flow reg and a non-rebreather mask, I don't see how the med supply place can deny you what the doctor orders. I agree that you need to call another med supply house. On the double. Pegg

I got my last regulator at ebay, too. And, there are med supply places online where you can get non-rebreather masks, and really inexpenisvely too. The clustermasx works better than any mask I have ever used, but of course, it costs more ... very worth it though. There is a link here somewhere. I have the addy if you can't find it. Bill

I totally agree with Pegg....get your doc to write the script for exactly what you need. It's their job to fill it correctly. I would also find another supplier....this is one hassle you don't need in the middle of a cycle Mia

this is not actually a regulator question, but an 02 question. Is the welders 02 safe to use? I read somewhere on the board that it is not pure. Also, can anyone tell me the best place to get it, actually the best place for the best price. Adam has no insurance, but is willing to do whatever. His hits have recently become more frequent and more severe. He really hasn't changed anything since he was going PF for a few days at a time. Anyway, any suggestions would be appreciated.
