Quote:"It's sad that there is something so not right that they need to go to these lengths to feel better," she said.--Drug counselor Mary Ellen Ruff |
| You mean like cluster headaches? Seriously though, this drug counselor has a seriously skewed veiw as to why teens use drugs. Does anyone take morning glory seeds to feel better (besides cluster headache sufferers)? Seeds aren't a feel-good, cope-with-stress drug. Does anyone working in the drug abuse/enforcement field ever think outside the fear based and counter-productive DARE program? Why do so few people retain their intellect when the subject is drugs? That's it, vig, you got me started... Well...I'm off to some drug prohibitionists blog to ruin their day. Jesse

Is it illegal because it's dangerous or is it dangerous because it's illegal? Our drug laws are ruining lives.

I'd hate to see us get bad press with good intentions.... I like the picture they used Kristy Peterkin, whose family owns Ayers Variety and Hardware, says the owners caught two teenage boys stealing "13 or 14 packs of these seeds."
