Prednisone question

I’ve been put on Prednisone, not for clusters but another problem. An hour after I take the pills I get the shakes and feel nervous on the inside and then it’s gone in about 45 minutes. I’ve never taken Prednisone before, is that feeling normal? I feel like a Chihuahua on beanies.

I've been using the pred taper for over 20 years and never had symptoms like that. The joy of everyone being different huh? Guiseppi

I get a little jittery but not like a Chihuahua on beanies. Dont worry about it on May 1st. All the Chihuahuas on beanies will be boycotting. What dosage are you taking?

Yip, Bob, the shakes like and nervous feeling when put on Pred but it does fade after using it a while. This happens especially when I start on a high dosage.

| Yep, we're all different. I feel like that for several weeks after starting my taper. It's awful!

Bob, You didn't mention what dosage you're taking. When I took the Pred for my CH, I was on a 12 day taper. I was fine till the last day of the taper....then it was like I was having an anxiety attack. Scared the hell outta me. I had never had that feeling before... Within 2 or 3 hours, everything was back to normal.....thanks to Jackie and Jonny... It sure was good to know that what I was feeling was normal. Good luck....hope things get better for you, sweetie. Same for me Bob. Nervous, shaky, heart beats fast. I avoid pred because of that. PFD
