Give the Neti Pot a test drive first. Tried the varied temperature routine. Loved it. Now.....I'm thinking Rum or Glue. It may be a cheap shot, but it's better than boredom. More for less. RJ

this sounds really feasable to me, in fact its made me cry. my ch cycles started with a cold feeling up my right nostril, which went down the back of my throat ,its there throughout the pain and is intertwined with it . my nose streams , it feels like brain freeze through my nose . the camera up the nose showed nothing ,which i was very upset about . i kepet saying to the ent specialist but how can that be ? it is at the back of my nose ,there must be something there ..(in a begging voice ) i wish i could freeze my trigeminal nerve for ever , i dream about injecting it myself to numb it . im sorry , im so weary of all this , im so depressed and i just want it to stop. ive had this cycle now for over 5 months and i keep thinking today is the day , im scared stiff incase its turned chronic. love to all you sufferrers

This also raises the question of whether a nasal cortisone spray might prevent - hasn't really been studied. Oral cortisone helps, but has some serious possible side effects. With normal use, the nasal spray doesn't cause the adrenal glands to shut down. Maybe it can 'cool down' the intranasal contact points.
