Getting Better?

All,
I just love the way these CHs work - just when you think you've ditched them for good, they return. Ive been pain free for almost a week, and then in the dead of the night - that ole' friend returns.....why, oh why, can it not be something more appealing that wakes me in the middle of the night vs a severe head-pain.

Getting ready to deploy again. Hate to think Ill have to suffer through these CHs while serving.

Am doing the H20 solution and verapamil....to include anti-depressants which hopefully will have some impact on my head. Nothing to date. I was hoping one of the side effects would be a happy-happy mood - but no luck.

Hope you all are doing well..... Grin

So sorry they're hitting you now. Serving our country is tough enough without having to deal with these things too. Sometimes, the beast's timing is impecible.

I had the same experience with an anti-depressant. Tried it as a preventative, not for depression. I didn't get extra happy either. Nor did I get any prevention, but that was just me.

Hopefully, one h/a after a week will be an anomoly for you.

Damn sorry to hear Spook. You'd think doing all you do would be enough to deserve a break  Angry

Good luck and here's hoping the beast has none.

Damn Spook, sorry to hear that buddy. I remember struggling through CH onboard ship during my Navy days, it weren't easy.

Best of luck to ya over there...

Sorry to hear that things are kinda tough for you right now.

One thing for sure.....the beast is very unpredictable.

I had been pf for 196 days, due to a Prednisone taper.  On day 197....the beast woke me at 4:30 a.m.  About a 6 or 7 on the kip scale.  Today is 202 days....that 1 CH is all I've had.  Just goes to show that the beast is a sneaky bastard.

Hope things get better for you.  Stay in touch and let us know how you are doing.

PF vibes,

Jean
