Texas Chapter

Fellow chbuddies,

A Texas chapter of OUCH (T.O.U.C.H.) was approved by the OUCH BoD and started during the Texas Meet & Greet.  The official day of inception is 2/28/04.

T.O.U.C.H. looks forward to working under OUCH and alongside the other chapters in supporting each other and especially supporting those who suffer from ch.

We plan on putting together a list of neuros in and around Texas that have experience in dealing with cluster headaches so we can pass this onto new ch'ers that have possibly not found a neuro or has a neuro that is not familiar with our affliction.

We will have more info as it comes to us from OUCH on what is required for membership, if anything!

The officers for the chapter are as follows:

Renee - Director
TxBassLady - Asst. Director
BarbaraD - Treasurer

If anyone catches a post from someone new that lives in Texas, please bring it to our attention!

PF 24/7 to all,
Renee

Starting a new chapter was briefly mentioned at the midwest meet'n'greet, but as far as I know thats as far as it went.....

My only real questions on that issue were can we have a chapter for the ENTIRE midwest? Or do we have to do it state by state? Hell there were sooo many rules and regulations on chapter forming I couldn't make heads or tails on what or how to do it like reading the king james version of the book of genesis....begat this , so and so begat that.....good lord I would just like to see some help for CHers in the midwest.

More info needed....well, CLEAR info anyhow. Any one who knows the basic breakdown pls e-mail or PM me so mebbie we can get the ball rolling in the central USA .

Call me ifn ya want or need to.....(815) 765-1621

Cerberus, it's simple.  Just complete the form:
http://www.clusterheadaches.org/members/chapters/application.htm

You really just need a chapter name/area, the 4 officers and agree to abide by the current bylaws.

Cerberus,

I pm'd you last night with all you will need to start with and whom to contact once the application is filled out with the 3 officers.

The chapters are limited to providing support, etc. at this point until we get further info from mother OUCH.

Let me know if I can be of any further assistance,
renee
