Just a note to thank everyone for the candles, flowers and cards. You absolutely "blew me away" with your recognition and loving kindness last weekend in Dallas. I understood what you were saying to me. I just did not know how to response in words .. and thought the tears were never going to stop! You are an exceptionally unique, wonderful group of people bound by common treads of pain, recovery, persistence and love for one another. May God richly bless every one of you in ways that only He can. As for DJ .. he is as much "a gift" to me as he is to you, and I thank God for him every single day of my life. Much love to you all. Linda

Linda, It truly was an honor to meet you. There are so many times when it is difficult for us to find the right words to say how we feel. I was pretty much blown away just knowing that DJ was going to be in attendance in Dallas. But.....when I was told that DJ's Mom was gonna be there.....WOW!!! I came to the conclusion that DJ must really love us! DJ is an extraordinary man. I know how he feels about taking credit for all of the gifts he's given us. The gifts from DJ are the lifelong friendships, the love, the support, and the outlet that made this all possible. How can one find the words to express how this all makes me feel? The gift (s) he has given me will be valued for the rest of my life. I have met people from all walks of life. I have given and received hugs, kisses, and love from people I would have never met, had it not been for your son. The flowers for you....well it was just a token of our appreciation for you giving us the gift that has changed our lives. You are a very special lady, Linda. Thank you for giving up your personal time to spend time with us. I very much appreciate your presence in Dallas. DJ has changed my life. He prefers that I not say that to him, but he also knows that I'm gonna do it no matter what he says. I cry when I try to tell him what I feel......but it's only because my heart is so full of love and appreciation for him and his unselfishness. I am and will be forever indebted to your son. Thank you, Linda......for sharing him with us. I love you, Jean

Linda, I'm so glad you and Wyatt could come this weekend. It was so good to see you again, phone calls and emails just don't quite cover it as well. It was truely a gift to see that lovely smile on your face again....it had been too long. You know how special you are to me, and the friendship that we have is something I hold close to my heart. I know everyone is going to 'thank you' for giving us DJ, and that is true. DJ is someone special, but he is the man he is because of you. But, when I want to kick his butt....I know it's not because of you..... . Take care sweetie, and I'll see you in a few weeks. Tell Wyatt, he should start distributing that water....he'll make a fortune.... Love you, T

Good grief -- now ya'll went and done it.. You got this old broad crying. You know how I hate this sentimental stuff. But ditto on everything that "they" said. I got a lump in my throat and my fingers don't work good. But my offer still holds -- anytime you want to get rid of the "kid" just send me the adoption papers. I got his room all ready. C ya in Nashville. Give Wyatt a hug for me and keep one for yourself. Love ya BD

LouLou, Fantastic that you made it to a group meeting of DJ and his "little headache friends," (as my future ex so aptly puts it.) When you make it to Nashville, the virgins will probably be throwing roses at your feet. Neato. Glad you had a good time. Any Mother of DJ's.......... RJ

Linda, Thank you for posting and being with us here. Your son has built quite a clubhouse here. I like it because I haven't been pushed off the swingset yet. I'm the one by the sandbox with sand in my shoes, grass stained knees and sucker stuck in my hair. Nice to meet you. Thank you for joining. Big Kool-Aid mustache smile. Kevin M

I missed getting to meet DJ AND his Mom?.....will the injustices never cease? Geez....I must now go commit Hari-Kiri in shame DeeJ....know how blessed you are that your mother supports you, mine, can't even comprehend the tourture I go through, and won't even give me more than "sorry." of course she has also never witnessed an attack to be able to grasp the severity of the pain and anguish it brings. Give her a big HUG for me and Woobs! Ramon
