My new Neuro...(for now anyway)

I had my first appointment with the new neurologist this morning (two and a half hours) half of my time was spent filling out various forms, medical history yada - yada.... Anyhow, I was referred for a sleep study, basically to figure out why I don't sleep and if I do why its not anything near considdered quality. CH is not a factor now since I am not in cycle, and was not the MAIN topic of discussion today. She asked me about my medication regimen (While in and out of cycle) she reviewed my film (MRI) and stated that it was normal (I already knew that) and told her about the LAST neuro I saw and how I was not happy with his treatment. SO... Tomorrow I get to go to the office at 10pm CST and sleep .....THEN the next day they want to keep me there to see what happens when I Nap....yeah right I thought the same thing...People NAP???? WTF? I guess the point is to see how my sleep patterns are affecting my body and mind, then later to see if it has any bearing on my CH (apnea and other anomalies, if any, included) She didn't change any medications (seemed satisfied) her eyes did pop open a little when I mentioned O2. Also asked if I had a script for it. And thats about all for now. I go in for the study tomorrow and am not due home till Wed. evening. The results won't be ready for a week after the test with an appointment that following Tues. I will, at that time, discuss in great detail about my CH and see what kind of reactions I get.....so far, she seems knowledgeable (at least from what we discussed) Thanks for listening... Ramon OH yeah, I almost forgot, she asked me when my cycle(s) are and what I take to abort, prevent and how much it immitrex it took to abort the CH......promising, to say the least. RDB
