here has Autosomal Nocturnal Frontal Lobe Epilespy? The seizures come in clusters like clusterheadaches and then just stop on their own. They happen in my sleep and normally happen twice to three times a year in cold and hot weather months sometimes lasting for over a month each night, two and three seizures not uncommon. It has happened since I was a kid. Just curious if anyone else has this. Stuey

Check back.....old Charile is kinda slow these days but I think he might have something to say on this topic, as soon as he can gain enough strength to crank the handle on his puter to start it ........................................jonny

Well... So far as I know, I've not had this type of seizure. In fact, I believe they rarely occur at night. However, since I started Lamictal, they do indeed occur in tight groups with maybe more than two weeks between attacks. This is something new to me and since the timing seems to be affected by the drug, and that the CH is gone, it doesn't mean much. Damn I wish they'd quit remaming these things. I'm still calling it what they did in the dark ages. Good luck to you and you'd think one horror at a time would be enough. Charlie

Thanks Giovanni, Charlie and all who responded. These things suck. I went to an epilepsy clinic for 5 days and of course no episodes. I told them they come in clusters and that they stopped like two weeks before I went to the hospital. Frankly I don't know which is worse the clusterheadaches or the seizures. They both suck big time. What I don't like the most is that they aren't grand mal seizures where you don't know what is happening to you. I'm fully aware what is happening to me but just can't do anything but ride them out. I wish more was known about both illnesses. Thanks for reading the post, it means a lot that people took the time. Peace. Stuey
