Hi everyone! It is with bittersweet emotions I join your family of cluster heads and supporters!!!!!!! Some of you great ones I have interacted with in chat, hit there again!

I started my first and longest cluster five weeks ago, just when I thought I had it beat, it has beaten me, coming at all times of day and night. I see a neurologist next week, my GP diagnosed me and am on Topamax and verap, so trying all the stuff I have been learning while looming here for four weeks. You all have been so helpful in my dark days so I want to say a big thanks to all of you for all the advice and support. Glad your here!!!!!!!!!

Glad you are here.  You will find all the love and support you can use here.  Also, there is a ton of info for you to read and use.  Some of it may be helpful to your Dr as most of them have never had the fun of dealing with one of us. Grin

Wishing you PFDANs

Hi Broomie,

Sorry you're here, hope you'll stay.  I have a curiosity question...  Did your GP pick up on diagnosing Clusters right away?  Did he/she have any help?  i.e.  ER visit?? IIt's rare to find a smart one, and I hope you have!

Hi there!!!! Edna, yes that was me, broomie in the chat room!!!!!!
Brad, I guess my dr is some what on the ball he diagnosed me right away, he has another cluster he treats as well, but I will be his first female. The problem here in BC is O2 is not covered on our med plansand went three times to ER and discharged myself after waiting in ER for two hours and cluster was over.( I am still trying to link with OUCH>CA to no avail for info there) I use Imitrex, sometimes works sometimes not! I am glad to join you all and thanks so much! Looking forward to more!
Take care and wish you all pain free weekend!!!!!!! Cheesy
