Last Aug I had a motorcycla accident and ended up losing a toe in the process....severed it almost clean off and split the foot from front to back. They re-attached the toe but it turned to gaingreen (spl) and had to be amputated. I can telll you that that was a cake walk (no pun intended) to what I go thru with CH. BTW: the bike never touched the ground and i was riding 5 wks after the accident. Peace, 357Mag

| Sorry about your toe. I'm not talking about physical pain. I hardly feel physical pain at all... Your post made me smile and I needed that. Thank you.

I hear that the loss of a toe can stuff your balance right up - did you have difficulty walking?

Ok Thomas, you've got me worried. Spill it, your family can lend you their collectives shoulders at anytime. I agree that there is most definitely pain worse than ch when it goes beyond the physical realm. You ok bro? What do you need? Say the word and it's yours. I'll not have my demonic pizza eating brother hurting. Cat

| Right on, Cat! Spill it Thomas cuz I know where you live ... well not exactly ... but I'm not against going door to door to find ya'. Let us know if you need anything. And if you don't ... then watch out because I just may show up wandering around your town with a sauerkraut & Canadian bacon pizza. BruceD

Thomas, I can definatly say that there is worse pain then ch when it is emotional, cause there is no stop to it. The ch you know even though it will be back, is only going to last a short time. But emotional pain can knaw away at your soul it seems and make you feel empty. Please if there is anything that I can do, let me know. I am sorry that you are in pain my friend and anything that I can do to make it bearable, please let me help. Tia

Understand Thomas. If you noticed, as a newbie, I haven't put my whole story into words either, nor asked for assistance. I tend to want to offer assistance to others and handle my situation on my own. Been like that in my work, personal and social life. Always the provider, protector, fixer, but never the one in need. Many prayers and vibes to you, that you will have strength and fortitude to work it all out. 357Mag

| You want a story....... here goes....... airborne school in FT. Benning, I broke my leg on my first jump (non weight bearing bone). Had to run 2 miles on the road in boots every day and make four more jumps in 4 more days. Cake walk compared to a ch...........

Loss of a loved one (on other levels/ different kind of pain), yes. Although I have no children of my own, I do believe a loss of your child would also be a yes. When it comes to losing family & friends, yes. Heartache is one of the most painful things. Whatever it is (which is none of my business) for the reasoning of your question, I only wish you the best Thomas. Whatever it might be : May you have the wisdom & insight to understand it, & the strength & support to survive it.
