I go fill a prescription at CVS a few weeks ago and pick up a free CVS Pharmacy Medizine/Healthy Living book. You know, the kind with up-to-date med info and updates on new meds, and stories with human interest. Its more of a mini mag. Anyway, just now, flipping through the 4th quarter 2003 mag, I see a story on Migraines... the sidebar, Type Talk, highlighted at the bottom says... "How do you know it's migraine and not another kind of headache? You can be fairly confident of the diagnosis if your doctor finds no evidence of other disease and you have had at least four to five attacks. If the pain doesn't seem to be migraine, you might be experienceing one of the following kinds of headaches. " So follows # 1: "Tension headaches"....with the description. #2 : Cluster headache, marked by an intense pain in and around one eye. These can last 30 minutes to two hours, and occur daily or several times a day in "clusters." The intermittent episodes can continue for a few months. Other symptoms may include a red, tearing eye, and a stuffy nose. " Just thought you might want to know that the info is getting OUT there, via yet another channel. I've read this mag before, and this is the first time I see ANYthing on clusters. Its not detailed or anything, but I bet there is a chance that someone may read this and go hmmmmmmm..... SOMEbody is doing something right. Hope you all had a great and PF weekend... and enjoyed yer football. Pep

Sounds good. I got O2 a few days ago. The guy that delivered the tank has been at the job quite some time and had never heard of Cluster Headaches.

I just got O2 this past week too. The respiratory therapist said he wasn't familiar with oxygen therapy and ch and readily took any info I gave him and said he was going to do some research so he was more "educated" when he spoke with me again. Gotta love it when someone WANTS to be educated about CH in any way!
