The Jewel Named 'Lissa

The Jewel Named 'Lissa I come here for sanctuary and peace. A safe respite from my normal, painful hell. I'm surrounded by others with the same ailment. I've found weapons and tools here to help fight this that weren't on the other 'maps'. It's relief beyond expression. I'll bet some of you know what words like 'Lissa's can mean to someone in the middle of attacks... reassuring, heart warming, encouraging,... Dichten = Condensare... to write poetry is to condense. She captured in 44 words, the agony of our condition and the wonders of a supporter.. She's got it right on and I DO feel her presence when I'm down and it helps me to bear it without despair. She tells me it'll be over soon. I feel no need to scream or beg anymore. It's the difference between suffering the torture we all know and peacefully accepting mountains of pain with some dignity. Yes, CHmess, vig is a VERY lucky guy. Thank you 'Lissa, Paul

Very nice post, Vig........Surely each of us have someone here that we consider to be our "angel". Just that special someone, who is always there........ The best thing is to be able to talk to that special someone.......someone you hold in high regard...to be able to say anything, and know that he/she will not be critical. To know that no matter what....they'll always be there for you. We are very lucky to have found such wonderful, lifelong friends here. PF vibes to you, Paul......and to Lissa (It was great to meet you in Iowa) Jean

The solace of poetry perhaps can soothe the "beast" from the pleasant, different perspective of understanding for sufferers she offers. Haven't read her poetry but I too like young ideas, experiences and coping morale from many angles, one of which she provides with unabandon from thoughts differently from views I haven't considered. We need the inner and other inspired strength by the variety of feelings expressed. Some contributions are bound to hit home and help, be it only one person or several of those, who may tune in to look for whatever words may be the heartfelt humor or understanding which they may feel or remember as the empathy which attaches to to the painful lives we encounter daily and the mind strives to revisit, hear and look for again. Some here do that for me too. Glad she helps you with this all. Not bad for a bunny pimp. . Kidding. Kevin M

| In the middle of the despair it is difficult to talk about peace and dignity… but… To move in the darkness, we must always follow a light glimmer... I have an inexhaustible strength and positivity source which often in the every day’s life of this bad world gets lost and sends you in the caos… Thanks to it I am able also to make me touch lightly from a smile and feel less alone in this life which always gets more hostile… Lately in some things I overcome myself, my instinct and my indolence. When I’m in crisis, I go down, then, touched the fund, he gives me a push and I go back… So, I find a magic force that I didn’t know… and I’m taking if from a special person here: this name is OPUS... my clusterbud! It is very important to have an angel behind you! So... I'm happy for you, vig! Be well, Zaira
