any suggestions are greatly appreciated. first cluster in 4+ years. First HA on Christmas eve, only had 3 so far. Here is the deal..
My neuro has moved. Took a day to find him. Found him. He's on vacation. Back Monday, maybe Friday. JOY. His freaking gatekeeper would only leave a message in case he called in. Would not put me through to his on call Dr. Said if it's an emergency, call 911.
Treating the beast with Advil, ice and pure courage. JOY.
Now the fun part...I have to work a convention on Saturday and give a seminar to 100 giggling brides.
Thoughts?????
Please help

You may have a problem to get your GP to provide O2. I suggest to at least talk him into prescribing Amerge over the phone to your pharmacy. 9 tablets in a box. They work most of the time for me, but you can't wait too long like you can with Imitrex injections.

Well there is always the ER.  Or an urgent care, to get some meds until you see your neuro.  Or you can eat cake!!

Good luck...

I agree that the best thing you could do immediately is to get any MD or NP that you can find to write for Imitrex or Amerge until you can see your neuro.  That way you could probably still do the seminar.  Good luck.

No, it's not a headache--it's a Stage Ten Primary Chronic Periodic Idiopathic Trigeminovascular Cephalalgic Crisis.
