Well folks, sorry I dropped off the face of the board on everyone, but my comcrap laptop died and I've been in a battle with compaq for them to replace it. I got the machine back unrepaired and am currently at the upper management level and ready to kick ass and take names!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NEVER buy a comcrap aka compaq laptop new. They are the worst piece of shit I've ever dealt with, hell my old TANDY worked better than this piece of shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But I'm back online now, albeit as per the whim of the comcrap, but a new dell is en route and I will be a permanent pain in the ass once again 
 ;D ;D ;D ;D
Now comes the task of catching up on everyone!!!!!!

Hope ya get the pooter CRAP straighten'd out...glad yer back ! I've went thru shit with this new one...I jus don't think they make stuff like they used to......my opinion. This new one freezes up ALL DA DAM TIME....runs out of memory all da dam time and it's new...I restart and it is fine.....for a short while. Can't shut it off or it won't come back on and now the clock battery is goin lame on me. Multi tasking means multi freeze ups...this week it's havein some good-pooter-moments tho....Pam-Coots-that-owns-a-sumetimes-good-sumtimes-shit-pooter

Opus.......me gots the hp Pavilion Xt953.......not sure if it has a clash somewhere or what but sumthin ain't rite.....thinkin my clock battery deal is needin changed....heard the clock battery has sumthin ta do with one not comein back on if turned off ? If I unplug it a short while it will come on with the power button usually if shut off. Hey thanks.......Pam-Coots-evil-bitch-number-one-here-at-home ;D

you got surge suppresser on that thing? Is it a lap top? if clock battery dies it will lose the date and time and bios settings. otherwise it should do something, might be a problem with a powre supply.

We got a hp Pavilion laptop and was told we could install XP Pro network addition on our laptop so we bought it. We couldn't get it to install correctly. Called up HP. Guess what? hp Pavilion doesn't support XP Pro. It only runs XP Home. Needless to say we are not very happy that the salesman lied to us. Now we have a network in our house with a docking station for my laptop and I cant run the operating system that should be on it. Sucks. Needless to say Best Buy has lost our future business.
