Everytime that the beast decide's to visit me,i get a warning in my right eye ( within minute's he's there full blast - EYE,temple, forehead, face, etc. ) on my right side.
This past Saturday,i got the warning in my left eye 2 - seperate time's ( the S.O.B.)never came,on Sunday night approx. 10 -time's same thing with no visit from him ( now im not complaining that he's not visiting ).
The last time that i had clusters on my left side, was back in 96 or 97. No i did not call my doc ( i only do that when i am having serious problems ). My question is,has this happened to you and if so did it switch sides or just fucked with you as its doing with me ??? ???.
As i mentioned above it always starts in the eye ( 100% of the time) and to me the worse pain of any attack has always been there Cry Cry .PFDAN to all !!

Lenny,

Over the past 13 years I have had 2 episodes on the left side. Normally mine are on the right and the HA's typically last for about 45-60 minutes on that side. When it has moved to left, I tend to have a smaller number of headaches per day, but they last considerably longer (2-3 hours) Before a cycle starts for me I get a feeling like my eye is being squeezed like it's trying to be forced out of my head. I get this same feeling for either right or left HA's.  Both times the left side started that way (happens several times a day) and then progressed into full blown HAs within a day or two. Because of their increased duration (and still having 2-5 ha/day) I REALLY HATE the left sided ones. (not that I like those cycles on the right  Wink

Also, I'm pretty much like you ... unless I think I REALLY AM dying, I never call my doc. Just another stupid hard-headed guy. Smiley

Take care
Bruce

Only two occassions has the SOB decided to invade the left side.  Truly is a weird feeling when that has happened.  I just pray it never happen to both at the same time.  If that ever happens I'll probably cancel my ticket.

Lenny,

I was wondering how you are doing since you had to stop the Lithium.

Nope, no side switching for me. Always right side, never a hint of anything on the left.
