Hello everybody, I too suffered from CHs for 35 years, but fortunately they went away (2.5 years ago) when I quit smoking -- regardless, this post is not about me.
I've just received a very troubling e-mail from a desperate father whose daughter was diagnosed with something downright frightening. The e-mail was sent from my country of origin (Italy), so I'll try my best to translate the diagnosis: "cerebral neoplasia with profound lesion" -- I'm not a doctor, so I'm just guessing here.
The problem is that the doctors who are treating this patient don't seem to be too familiar with this "thing", and the father has asked for any information that anybody may have -- I don't know this man, and I'm not even sure how (or why) I received his e-mail... regardless I believe everything happens for a reason so I'm not going to ignore it.
Since the symptoms are earth-shattering headaches accompanied by vomit, my first thought was to come to clusterheadaches.com, hoping some of you might know something or someone who could lead to more information.
ATTENTION: Nobody is asking for money or any form of contributions here -- simply information that may shed some light on possible treatments. As far as I can tell, this father is so desperate that he sent a spam e-mail as a last resort.
