Buddy and I are sitting here together, its a sad day for us both. Garrett had become a part of our family.
I know you guys sent me Flowers to cheer me up. I was the sadest I could be when I went to the door. When I open them it was like you all were here at the right second to whip away my tears. The funny part about it all is none of you knew I am sure bout Garrett when you sent them. They are beautiful and they helped me a lot today. Thank you all.
I talked to Garrett's Mother today. Garrett had a great last week, he was feeling better, even eatting, he was starting to talk where people could understand him again. The last day he was happy but Kelly his mom said something wasn't right. She gave him a bath and put him to bed. She said his eyes started twitching and he started seizuring then and continued off and on till around 2 am then his breathing became very slow. He held on till his grandmother could get there and died at 2:15 am . His baby brother woke at that moment from a dream a dream of Garrett riding a bike. Garrett was able to tell them through that dream that he was ok.
You have all been very kind. Thank you so very much.
I can't stay here right now, but felt I needed to say thank you. I can't read the board right now. I know without reading your replies to my post that they are kind and I thank each of you. I am ok just need some time to get my head together.
Please do one more thing for me. Know I am ok and know I know you all care about me as I care about you all, but I sure would be much happier if you all would just be happy, laugh and have some fun. This world is so full of sadness we need more happyness, more laughter. You guys please laught and have some fun for me. I promise as soon as I get my head together again I will read all the post and reply. I had to come back to let you all know about Garrett and to thank you. I still need more time. I will be back but not now.
